Thank you for sharing your lovely website - I enjoyed it very much and would love to stop by your ranch

one of these days and see your horses. I live in Sisters and have the last foal (28 yrs.) out of my first Arab mare, a Crabbet/Kellog by The Count of Al Marah. Love the dispositions! Have a great year.

How beautiful your animals are, My first love has always been the Arab's. They are so kind and love people so much.

We are retired now and have sold all of our horses. Well not a lot  we had three and they were just like family. We do still however have one here and he is retired. He is our 3/4 Arab gelding other mix is quarter. But he is very fine and turns on a dime still. One thing about Arab's is they are very strong and can go forever..

Thanks for sharing your page with  the world...

Mackies Image has not been bred to a pinto and he has not thrown excessive white, he does put on flaxen manes. Our stallion, Z Mufaurwa, however does throw white and his dam was a purbred pinto.
Joanne Stephens says...
I'm back. Just wanted to know if Mackie's Image has ever been bred to a pinto mare. And if so, did it have color. Can I make an appointment to come and see your horses. I had a Abu Farwa bred gelding for 28 years and loved him to pieces. He had what all Arabians have "Heart". He was used for everything that came along. Park Horse, English Pleasure, Western, Trail Horse. He went to the mountains, and last but not least he was a drill horse.

Loved reading your history and looking at your beauties. I have an 18
year old Padron girl and one of these days will be needing a younger
baby to go down the endurance trails. CMKs attract me for some reason;
I am learning all I can about them. ALso partial to the Polish and Russians.
Love your website. it has such a warm feeling to it.

Well it must be the year of the BEAR! In 9 years of riding on the Loup Loup south summit I had seen one little black bear running away as fast as he could go. Sunday on a trail ride we (Kendal/Annie, Kathy/Kira, Me/Fashion) ran into the black bear mother with the twin cubs that Kendal and Kathy had seen the week before. The mom tree'd the cubs and stood her ground -- we yelled and waited and she stared us down so we turned around and found a different way back to the trailer. Yesterday on a training ride we (Kathy/Kira and Me/Annie) rode the north summit and about two miles from the trailer we saw a big cinnamon bear with twin cubs! She, however, called the cubs and amiably ambled off into the woods when we let her know we were there....better reaction! We are now riding all the horses with bear bells attached to their breast collars so we don't surprise the momma bears when we come trotting around a corner! Annie, by the way, is more afraid of the pretty black Angus cows/calves on the trail than she is of the bear!
Fashion is looking good and is entered in Bandit Springs... we will stop at the ranch on the way to the ride.
Kathleen
